Using Photos

A simple but often overlooked technique to help you brainstorm and visualise an area to landscape is to take photos of it. You can then take the photos back to your study, send to friends for ideas, and create multiple copies of it to try different ideas. You can even print them off and draw on them!


In this basic example below, I took snips of plants I liked and overlaid them on the photo of the bare wall of the house. Very easy, but very effective!
