Zephyranthes candida is a small, bulbous perennial native to South America. Zephyranthes candida forms neat clumps of slender, grass-like dark green foliage. In late summer to early autumn, it produces crocus-like, pure white, star-shaped flowers that appear after rainfall. It is often used in borders, rock gardens, containers, or as a naturalised groundcover, especially in warm, sheltered sites where its surprise blooms add seasonal charm.
