Commonly known as South Island Kowhai, this semi-evergreen is a popular NZ native. It is covered in beautiful yellow flowers from September to November, and is a favourite with a lot of birds. Makes a stately small specimen tree when mature. Grows to approx. 8m tall by 3m wide when mature.
