Salvia ‘Amistad’ is a fast-growing, herbaceous perennial prized for its long flowering season and striking deep purple blooms forming an upright, bushy clump. The plant features lush, dark green foliage and produces abundant tubular flowers with nearly black calyces from late spring through to autumn. It is widely used in mixed borders, pollinator gardens, and containers, attracting bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds (in suitable climates) with its nectar-rich blooms and vivid colour.
