Magnolia ‘Vulcan’, commonly known as the Vulcan magnolia, is a deciduous ornamental tree renowned for its exceptionally large, goblet-shaped flowers and striking colour. In late winter to early spring, before the foliage emerges, it produces abundant deep crimson to rich ruby-red flowers that can reach up to 30 cm across. The tree develops a rounded, upright habit and widely used as a specimen tree in gardens and parks, valued for its spectacular floral display and strong architectural form.
