Hydrangea Annabelle is a deciduous flowering shrub valued for its spectacular, large, rounded flower heads and lush green foliage. It forms a bushy, rounded habit with broad, oval, mid-green leaves and produces masses of creamy-white flowers and finally a deep smoky shade of pink from summer through to early autumn, often reaching 20–30 cm in diameter. The flowers emerge pale green, mature to white and gradually fade back to green as they age. It is commonly used in cottage gardens, woodland borders, mass plantings and as a feature shrub, valued for its impressive floral display and low maintenance requirements.
