Fuchsia procumbens, commonly known as creeping fuchsia, is a species of flowering plant native to New Zealand. This unique fuchsia species exhibits a trailing habit, with slender stems that sprawl along the ground or cascade over walls or containers. Its small, elliptical leaves are dark green and glossy, adding a lush appearance to its surroundings. The striking flowers of F. procumbens are small, yet vibrant, featuring a combination of green and yellow hues, accented by bright red sepals. This species is typically frost hardy and deciduous, thriving in moist, well-drained soil preferably in partial shade. It reaches a mature size of approximately 15-30 centimeters in height and spreads up to 1.5m.
