How far apart do I space my hedge plants?

Updated: Apr 21, 2020

A question we're often asked is, "How far apart do I space my hedging plants?

The answer is a simple rule of thumb - approximately half the distance of the desired height of the hedge.

Easy as that. 0.5:1

So if you want a hedge 1.5m tall, plant your shrubs 750mm apart.

Hopefully that helps!

Cheers
