Acer palmatum var. dissectum 'Viridis' is commonly known as Laceleaf, or Weeping Japanese Maple. It has soft green foliage in spring and summer which turns to brilliant gold in autumn. Strongly cascading branches form a dome-shaped plant at maturity. It only grows to approx. 1.5m x 1.5m when mature, so it is a good option for the smaller garden. Cold and frost hardy.
